Seymour Man, 22, Killed In Bridgeport Rollover Car Crash BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A pair of crashes in Bridgeport Monday left one person dead and sent three other people to the hospital, according to police. David Anthony Anderson, 22, of Seymour was killed in an accident near the intersection of Barnum Avenue and Pembroke Street. Anderson was traveling west on Barnum Avenue when his SUV was struck by a Saturn traveling south on Pembroke Street, which was operated by a 20-year-old man from Bridgeport, according to police reports. Power Outage Hits 1,800 Trumbull Customers TRUMBULL, Conn. -- More than 1,800 people were without power in Trumbull Thursday afternoon, according to United Illuminating. As of 1:45 p.m. there were seven outages in town, affecting 1,815 customers, UI reported. Nearby areas did not appear to be heavily affected, with Bridgeport experience two outages affecting two customers, and Easton seeing one outage affecting one customer.
