Eversource: Power Restoration Could Take Until Friday Night FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- With thousands of people throughout Fairfield County still without power Thursday afternoon following Wednesday's storm, Eversource said it could take until late Friday night to restore power to most of the county. Eversource said in an announcement Thursday that it expects to have power restored for the majority of customers by 11:30 p.m. Friday. Roads Closed In Weston After Storm WESTON, Conn. -- Wednesday night's storm knocked down several trees and wires, closing roads throughout Weston, according to the Weston Forum. Among the closed roads reported by the Weston Forum Thursday morning are: Valley Forge Road, Blue Spruce Circle, Godfrey Road, Cedar Hills and Covenant Lane. Wilton Police told the Bulletin that closed roads include Route 33 between Drum Hill Road and Stewart Lane; Mountain Road at the intersection with Indian Hill Road; Whipstick Road near Pelham Lane; Blue Ridge Road near Rolling Ridge Road; and Pipers Hill Road near 81 Pipers Hill Road.
