Metro-North New Canaan Branch Sees Slight Decline In Ridership FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – The busiest commuter rail line in the country was even busier in 2015, with the Metro-North New Haven Line setting an all-time ridership record of 40.3 million passenger trips last year, Gov. Sidney Nelson, 43, of Meriden was charged with fifth-degree larceny. He posted a $5,000 bond and will appear in court on Jan. 26. The arrest stems from an incident in December when a resident reported that packages were stolen from their home.
