Fire Put Out At Warwick Elementary School An overnight fire inside an Orange County elementary school was extinguished before it could spread.   The fire began at around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, at Pine Island Elementary School, according to the Pine Island Fire Department.  Firefighters were dispatched after an automatic fire alarm activated at the school.  Soon after arriving, crews went into the building and found heavy smoke.
