A Maryland-plated SUV racked up nearly $260,000 in unpaid tickets — and DC finally caught up with it.
The black Audi was towed on Wednesday, April 8, in Washington, DC, after officers found it carrying a staggering 893 outstanding violations, according to police.
The vehicle was spotted and seized by DC’s traffic enforcement team working with city crews, who moved in to tow it from a residential street.
Photos show the SUV hooked up and hauled away, ending what police described as one of the most extreme cases they’ve seen.
