What started as a reported crash investigation in Virginia ended in tragedy when officers discovered a 22-year-old man dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound inside the wrecked vehicle, police said. Prince William County officers were called around 9:10 p.m. on Friday, May 16, to the 18000 block of Joplin Road in Triangle for reports of a vehicle that had struck a tree.
