Customers May Get Up To $5K After Rental Car Company's Data Breach: How To File Claim
Avis customers may receive up to $5,000 after the car rental company suffered a data security breach.
The company reached a settlement in the class action lawsuit related to the incident that exposed customers' personal information, including driver's licenses, credit card numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, and names. The data breach happened between Saturday, Aug. 3, and Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024.
