Legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani has died.
His death at age 93, on Monday, Jan. 19, came at his home in Rome, his foundation announced, calling him a "true source of light, creativity and vision" and a "constant guide and inspiration."
The couturier known simply as "Valentino" defined luxury fashion for six decades, creating timeless glamour that dressed royalty, Hollywood stars, and socialites worldwide. He died peacefully surrounded by loved ones, according to his foundation.
