Suspected DUI Driver Kills 2, Injures 3 In Manhattan When Plows Into Pedestrians: Nypd
Two men were killed and three others were critically injured after an SUV crashed into a group of pedestrians in Manhattan Friday night, May 15, police said.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. near West 109th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Police said a 61-year-old man driving a Mercedes-Benz SUV north on Amsterdam Avenue lost control of the vehicle, slammed into two parked cars, and struck five men ages 35, 36, 44, 46, and 51. All five victims were rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

Thirteen people throughout New Jersey have been arrested for their role in a human trafficking ring, authorities announced Friday, May 15.
An investigation by the state police's Human Trafficking Unit investigated the activities of a human trafficking ring operating across multiple counties in New Jersey, including Middlesex, Ocean, Camden, and Burlington, Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said.

A Brooklyn teenager was arrested after allegedly leading New Jersey State Police on a pursuit that ended in a multi-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said.
A trooper from Troop “D” Bloomfield Station attempted to stop a BMW passenger vehicle at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, on the southbound Parkway near milepost 149.3 in Essex County, according to State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. The BMW failed to stop, and a short pursuit followed, police said.
