Missing Bergen County TikTok Influencer Found, Cops Confirm
A missing 29-year-old Bergen County TikTok influencer has been found safe after nearly a week, police said.
William “Bill” Hooper was located in good health just before noon, in Camden County near Lindenwold Friday, May 29, Deputy Chief Paul Haggerty tells Daily Voice.
Hooper had last been seen Thursday, May 21, at the NJ Transit train station in Secaucus, police previously said.
His disappearance drew concern across Bergen County and beyond, as his parents circulated a missing person’s poster with the message: “We just want to know that you are safe.”

Douglas Shepp McCain, the eldest son of the late Sen. John McCain, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 20, according to his obituary. He was 66.

A Bergen County man was one of two people arrested Wednesday, May 20, in connection with a federal case after posting AI-generated deepfake pornography depicting celebrities, elected officials, and other women without their consent, officials said.
