On Tuesday, June 16, the county Narcotics Strike Force obtained a package intercepted by the United States Postal Service Postal Inspectors meant for Ryan Weil, 35, that contained 15 grams of cocaine, purchased on the dark web with cryptocurrency, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.

A masked gunman robbed a Chase Bank in Morris County before escaping with approximately $12,000, prompting a massive manhunt on Saturday, June 27, authorities said.
