Crack Cocaine Gets Newark Man In Paterson: Passaic County Sheriff
Three people were arrested and charged after crack cocaine was seized from an area in Paterson on Thursday, May 21, authorities said.
The Passaic County Sheriff's Office Bureau of Narcotics conducted an enforcement operation targeting illegal drug activity in the area of Park Avenue, Passaic County Sheriff Thomas Adamo said.
Detectives arrested Freddie Mickens Jr., 55, of Newark; Ana Ramos, 50, of Paterson; and Glenn P. Rousset, 53, of Wharton, Adamo said. During the operation, detectives recovered approximately one ounce of crack cocaine and $440 from narcotics sales, Adamo said.

Paul Caneiro Gets Multiple Life Sentences For Murders Of Brother, Entire Family
Paul Caneiro, an Ocean Township resident, was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences after being convicted of murdering his brother, his sister-in-law and their two children in their Colts Neck home.
In levying the sentence, Judge Marc Lemieux called Caneiro, a "callous, heartless, brutal killer."
