Tom Noonan, a prolific character actor with credits dating back more than 40 years, has died. The Greenwich native was 74. Director Fred Dekker announced his death on Facebook on Wednesday, Feb. 18, saying the 6-feet-5-inch-tall actor had died last week. He did not provide a cause of death. Noonan built a long and memorable career in film, television, and theater. High School Sweethearts ID’d As Couple Killed After Falling Through Ice On Valentine's Day
A Massachusetts couple who died after falling through ice on a Cape Cod beach on Valentine's Day met as teenagers and were high school sweethearts, their family said. Kit Boucher, 71, and Jerry Boucher, 72, were walking along First Encounter Beach in Eastham around 9 a.m. when the ice gave way beneath their feet, authorities said. Eastham police responded to the Bee’s River area after receiving a report of a loose dog in the parking lot that was wet and appeared distressed.
