A reality TV star known to millions of viewers has been found dead.
Matt Brown, who appeared on the Discovery Channel’s "Alaskan Bush People," was found dead in Washington state on Saturday, May 30, his family announced. He was 42.
Brown’s brother, Solomon Isaiah "Bear" Brown, confirmed the death in an Instagram video posted late Saturday, May 30.

New Jersey Department of Corrections Sgt. Matthew C. Pellicane, a husband and father of two who spent his career in public service, died at his Monroe Township home on Tuesday, May 26. He was 39.
The New Jersey Department of Corrections announced Pellicane's death in a social media post.
Pellicane began his career with the department in November 2015 and was promoted to sergeant at Northern State Prison in April 2025, according to the NJDOC. He later returned to New Jersey State Prison.
