"As I write this, I'm sitting beside my twin brother, surrounded by our family, knowing that we're witnessing one of the hardest moments we'll ever have to face," Jamal Merrell wrote. "With tears in our eyes and love in our hearts, I want everyone to know that my twin brother, Jamil, is peacefully transitioning to be with God."

Lionel J. Manigault, 41, of Brooklyn, was driving through Malta on Interstate 87 on Sunday, July 5 when state troopers pulled him over for a traffic violation, New York State Police said.

Andrea Nussinow, 64, of Tivoli, had been arrested three times — in 2017, 2020, and 2024 — but was not convicted until the third case, according to previous reports and online records.
