Tornado Watch Issued For Much Of Northeast, Affecting 32 Million Residents
A volatile day weather-wise has taken a more dangerous turn across a broad stretch of the Northeast.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, for parts of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. It remains in effect until 9 p.m.
The watch stretches across central and southeastern New York, including parts of the Southern Tier, Catskills, Hudson Valley, New York City metropolitan area, and western Long Island.
