Paul Tagliabue, the former NFL commissioner who led the league through nearly two decades of growth and transformation, has died.
The 84-year-old Tagliabue's death came on Sunday, Nov. 9, at his home in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The apparent cause of death was heart failure complicated by Parkinson's disease, which he had been battling for about seven years.

Jesús Montero, a former top baseball prospect once hailed as one of the game’s brightest young hitters, has died at 35 following a crash in his native Venezuela.
The New York Yankees confirmed the catcher's death on Sunday, Oct. 19, writing, “The Yankees are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jesús Montero. We send our sincerest condolences to his family & loved ones.”
