Two Killed In Fairfield County Rollover Crash
Two people were killed in a rollover crash on Route 8 in Fairfield County, according to the Connecticut State Police. Troop G, Bridgeport responded at around 11:10 p.m. Thursday, southbound between Exits 7 and 8 in Trumbull, said Trooper Josue Dorelus Friday morning. According to troopers, the crash occurred when a 2007 Toyota Scion veered off into the right grassy area and struck a large rock wall. Man Found Dead Pinned Under Dodge Ram On Route 22
An investigation is underway after a 58-year-old Fairfield County man was found dead underneath a pickup truck in Dutchess County. New York State Police troopers responded to a 911 dispatch of a man pinned under a vehicle on Route 22 in the town of Pawling on Friday, June 1 just before 8 a.m. James C. Roberts of Danbury was trapped under a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck. Pawling Fire Department removed the vehicle, but Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene by EMStar Paramedics. Rockland Woman Seriously Injured In Route 45 Crash
A head-on crash that closed Route 45 for several hours seriously injured a 67-year-old Hillcrest woman. The crash happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday on Route 45 just north of New Hempstead Road when a 31-year-old Haverstraw man driving a 1997 Ford Econoline work van crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a 2010 Toyota Corolla, said Ramapo Police. The Hillcrest Fire Department responded to the scene and extricated the female from her vehicle. Westchester Woman Found Dead Under Vehicle In New Canaan
The identity has been released of a Westchester woman whose body was found under a vehicle at around noontime Tuesday in New Canaan, police said. The New Canaan Police, New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corp and New Canaan Fire Department were dispatched to a residence on South Bald Hill Road on a report of an individual that had been discovered pinned underneath a vehicle and not responsive. Arriving first responders located the victim underneath the vehicle, and it was determined that the victim was dead and had been underneath the vehicle for an unknown length of time, police said.
