Bridgeport Cop Arrested For Third Domestic Violence Incident, Shelton Police Say A Bridgeport police officer has been arrested for domestic violence for the third time in the past several years. Stephen Figueroa, 29, of Shelton, was arrested after a woman came to police headquarters around 9 a.m., Saturday, June 29, and reported she had been involved in a domestic incident with Figueroa, said Shelton Police Det. Christopher Nugent. The woman told officers that she went over to Figueroa’s apartment in Shelton at around 4 a.m. to retrieve some personal property, Nugent said.
