New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley busted 19 motorists who were allegedly driving while impaired over the weekend

On Saturday, Nov. 3, State Police troopers from Wappinger arrested Austin Mullen, age 20, of Wappinger, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Pine Ridge Drive in Wappinger, when he was involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On Friday, Nov. 2, State Police in Haverstraw arrested James Furey, 51, of Nanuet, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 304 in Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. The investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

10 Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
More than 30 motorists were busted by New York State Police troopers as law enforcement agencies in the Hudson Valley continue a nationwide crackdown on drunk, drugged and distracted driving.
A total of 18 of those charged were from the region:

On Friday, Oct. 12, State Police from Somers arrested Edwin P. Loja Cabrera, 21, of Ossining, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 100 in Somers, when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
