The Ramapo Police Department issued an alert on Friday regarding Darrell Ridgeway, who is wanted on a charge of criminal nuisance after he allegedly violated the ABC law dating back to an incident in Airmont in 2016. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Wednesday when the driver became confused and crashed a 2006 Toyota into the front area of the home on North Lorna Lane, said Ramapo Police. There were no injuries and the car did not enter the house. The driver was not issued any tickets, police said.

Man Nabbed For Village Of Airmont Burglary A 49-year-old Mahwah man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaking into an Airmont business last month, police said. 
Officials from the Ramapo Police Department announced the arrest of the man - whose name has not been released - this week, following an investigation into the break-in on Feb. 10 in Airmont. The man faces charges that include third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and grand larceny. Following arraignment in the Town of Ramapo Court, the man was released on bail and is due back in court later this month to answer the charges.
