: Worker From Hunterdon, 37, Killed In Crash At American Dream Mall
A worker from Hunterdon County who was hospitalized after a collision at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford on Wednesday died of his injuries. Eric Papenfuhs, 37, of Hampton, was brought to the trauma unit at Hackensack University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after a Bobcat utility vehicle that he was operating crashed into the back of a flatbed truck around 2:15 p.m., authorities said. Fast fashion retailer Forever 21 announced it will be filing for bankruptcy Sunday. Headquartered in California, the company will close nearly 350 stores internationally, including 178 in the U.S. "The bankruptcy is a blow to a company that prided itself on embodying the American dream, as well as a reminder of how quickly the retail landscape is transforming," the New York Times reports. American Dream Will Have 35,000-Square-Foot H Mart
Rejoice, H Mart fans: The beloved Asian-American grocer is coming to the American Dream. H Mart will occupy a 35,000-square-foot space and will be the first location in New Jersey to have a "Let Them Talk Bar and Stage" with live music, cocktails and weekly entertainment events. The supermarket will also have its popular "Market Eatery" food hall concept with dozens of options to choose from and an on-site bakery. American Dream is slated to open in October.

A magnetic monorail is being considered to spare drivers the extra time in traffic getting to and from the American Dream in East Rutherford. The high-speed Maglev monorail -- which floats on magnets -- would be an alternative to the extension of the Meadowlands rail line, currently operating out of MetLife Stadium, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
