Two Suffolk County Men Arrested In Connection With Overdose Death, Police Say
Two Long Island men have been arrested in connection with an overdose death.
Two Suffolk County men, Justin Ivanditto, age 30, Bay Shore, and Kendel Burnette, age 29, of Amityville, were arrested in connection with the Sunday, Dec. 5 death of a person in North Massapequa in Nassau County.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, an investigation into a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident led to the arrest of the two men.
Ivanditto was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Police on Long Island have released the identity of a man killed while crossing a busy highway.
Ralph Alexandre, age 36, was killed around 4:50 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 2, on northbound Route 110 in East Farmingdale in Suffolk County.
According to investigators, Jeremie Jean, age 52, of Amityville, was driving a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder northbound on Route 110, approaching Smith Street, when his vehicle struck Alexandre, who was running across the road.

ID Released For Man Critically Injured After Being Hit By Car At Long Island Intersection
The identity has been released of a man who suffered critical injuries after being struck by a car at a Long Island intersection.
It happened around 8:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1 in Copiague.
The man was walking southbound across Dixon Avenue, at the intersection of Molloy Street, when he was struck by a westbound 2007 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 59-year-old Amityville man, Suffolk County Police said.
