A Manheim family of four was caught "dealing marijuana and neglecting several animals" at their home, the Lancaster County District Attorney's office says.
Jordan, 24; Austin, 21; Scott, 49; and Heide Breland, 46, all of the 100 block of West Colebrook Street, were arrested following a search warrant executed Jan. 13 at approximately 10:50 a.m. by Members of the Drug Task Force, with the assistance of Manheim Borough Police.

Capital District Woman Starved, Neglected 31 Horses, Police Say
A woman from the Capital District is accused of neglecting dozens of horses to the point of starvation, authorities said.
Washington County resident Wendy Murphy, age 54, of Granville, was arrested Friday, Sept. 2, on 31 counts of animal cruelty.
It followed an investigation by state police, Washington County Animal Control, and the SPCA of Upstate New York into allegations that horses on her property were being neglected, police said.

Maryland Man Convicted Of Torturing, Neglecting, Abusing Dogs
A man who had more than two dozen tortured, malnourished, and injured dogs seized from his Reistertown home has been convicted on animal abuse, animal cruelty, and animal neglect charges, according to the State’s Attorney for Baltimore County.
Corey Elvin Hannah, 47, has been convicted of 17 abuse charges for allegedly mistreating the dogs at his Worthington Avenue home, State’s Attorney Scott Shellenberger said, following a trial in the Baltimore County Circuit Court.
