Fugitive In Jersey Shore Shooting Arrested In Georgia: Prosecutor
A fugitive allegedly responsible for a shooting in Neptune City has been arrested in Georgia, authorities said. Andre Paul, 27, of Ocean Township is charged with first-degree attempted murder, hindering apprehension and weapons offenses, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago. Shortly before 11 p.m. on May 22, members of the Neptune City Police Department responded to the Brighton Arms apartment complex on West Sylvania Avenue for a report of shots fired. The son of former Philadelphia Eagle defensive end Hugh Douglas was killed in a car crash outside Atlanta on Labor Day. A level three sex offender wanted in Atlanta for failing to register an address change was nabbed by police in the region searching for a missing person. Lebanon Dad Leaves Behind Young Daughter After Deadly Shooting
A 33-year-old Lebanon dad was shot dead on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, police announced that afternoon. Thomas M. Vance was found with a gunshot wound in the first block of Jones Street around 8 a.m., according to Lebanon City Police.
