Pair Charged With Shooting Teenager, Adult In Reading
Two suspects are charged with the shooting of an adult and a teenager on a Reading street late Sunday night, authorities say. City police were called to the corner of North 13th and Green streets to find a 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds at 11:30 p.m. on June 11, Daily Voice reported. A 14-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with the drive-by shooting of two other minors on a Berks County road late Saturday night. The two victims, aged 15 and 17, were walking along the 1200 block of Reading Avenue in Douglass Township when a car pulled up and shot them both, Daily Voice has reported.
