Bucks Man Sentenced In Brutal Attack Of Estranged Wife In Front Of Child
A Bucks County man was sentenced to 22 to 46 years in state prison on Thursday for repeatedly stabbing his estranged wife during a brutal attack in front of their child last year, authorities said.
Walter Joseph Vandoren Jr., 44, of Bristol Township, had pleaded guilty in May to attempted homicide, burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

Police in Dekalb County, Georgia have arrested a man wanted for attempted homicide of a boy in York County, Pennsylvania, according to York police.
Darryl Peeples, 37, of York, was wanted in connection with the attempted criminal homicide of a 13-year-old boy he shot in 100 block of South Newberry Street at 6:40 p.m on Monday, March 29, as Daily Voice previously reported.
Peeples was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday.
He will be extradited back to Pennsylvania to face charges.
