Three Nabbed On Long Island With Loaded Firearm During Traffic Stop
Three people were charged on Long Island for alleged criminal possession of a weapon following a traffic stop.
The arrests took place in Baldwin around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, on Cheshire Drive.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, officers spotted a 2007 Nissan Altima with a defective headlamp on Cheshire Drive, and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, a loaded semi-automatic pistol was located inside the vehicle. Numerous credit cards, debit cards, and scanning devices were also recovered from inside, Nassau County Police said.

A Long Island man is facing charges after police said a search warrant uncovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Cristopher Shaw, age 43, of Baldwin, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, April 8, in Baldwin, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
NCPD said a search warrant conducted in the 2000 block of Grand Boulevard led investigators to recover the following:
Heroin
Cocaine
Liquid morphine
A "billy club" baton
Large quantities of assorted pills
United States currency
Drug paraphernalia
