Federal officials announced that a former Baltimore County Police officer admitted to accepting thousands of dollars worth of bribes and kickbacks in exchange for handgun qualifying licenses they never earned. Baltimore resident William Johnson, Jr., 33, pleaded guilty on Monday, April 3 to a federal charge of honest services wire fraud for falsely certifying applicants for Maryland handgun qualifying licenses and wear and carry permits without proper training. A body was found in the water at the Loch Raven Reservoir on Thursday afternoon in Baltimore County, police say. At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, officers were called to a stretch Dulaney Valley Road near Jarrettsville Pike, where there was a report of a body that was found in the water. The body has since reportedly been discovered and Baltimore County Police officers are conducting an investigation. No additional information was provided by officials. This is a developing story. Police ID Second Woman Trapped, Killed In Dundalk Rowhome Fire
A second person has died from injuries sustained when a Dundalk rowhouse went up in flames late last month. Ann Baker, 61, is the second victim identified by Baltimore County Police following the fire that broke out shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in the 8500 block of Kavanagh Road. Previously, the only victim named by the department was Beth Susan Gibson, 66, who also lived in the home with Baker. Body Found In Baltimore County Identified: Police
A 47-year-old man has died after being attacked in Baltimore County, police say. Baltimore County Police located the body of Tavone Cotten shortly after noon in the 4100 block of Wilkens Avenue on Sunday, March 5. Cotten appeared to have been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have yet to identify a suspect or motive for the crime and are still actively investigating.

One Killed After Speeding Car Crosses Center Line Causing Head-On Crash: Baltimore Police
Baltimore County Police have identified the driver killed in a head-on crash last month on Philadelphia Road. Noel Ong, 48, was reportedly killed after a 2019 Nissan Altima driving at a high rate of speed crossed into his lane and his vehicle on Tuesday, Feb. 21, county police said. The crash occurred in the 11900 block of Philadelphia Road around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 21. Police rushed to the scene where they pronounced Ong dead at the scene due to injuries sustained by the impact of the crash. A 31-year-old gunman abducted a baby and fled in his victim's car after shooting her and leaving her to die in a Christmas attack, authorities in Baltimore County said. Swift Arrest Made After Body Found In Maryland Apartment
A suspect was arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Cockeysville, authorities say. Officers initially responded to the unit block of Queensbridge Court around 6 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7 after reports of a shooting, according to Baltimore County Police. When officers arrived to the scene, they located Azayn Antrobus, 23, dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds. A suspect was arrested about an hour after Antrobus was found dead in the apartment on Queensbridge Court.
