Paramus Police Capture 7 From Newark, East Orange, Irvington After Stolen Jeep Chase
A 17-year-old girl with a Jeep full of accomplices from Newark, East Orange and Irvington led Paramus police on a pre-dawn chase Monday before all were nabbed, authorities said.
Responding to a call of people trying to break into vehicles in the area of Arbor Road and Bush Place, Officer Don Liu tried to stop the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which sped off just after 12:30 a.m., Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.
