Charges have been filed against 13 people in connection with brawls that broke out last Thursday, June 20 following the Westwood High School graduation ceremony, police announced. Two graduation students and their family members are facing a total of 25 charges including assault, disorderly conduct, failure to disperse, and obstruction, Washington Township Police Chief John Calamari said. Bomb Threat By Employee's Ex Clears Teterboro Walmart
A threatening comment from the ex-husband of a store associate cleared the Teterboro Walmart on Tuesday, authorities said. The man had called the Teterboro Landing Walmart shortly before noon June 11, Moonachie Police Lt. Jeff Napolitano said. "When he was told that the associate was not available, he became agitated and [said] that he would blow up the store," the lieutenant said. Route 4 Reopens Nearly 12+ Hours After Crash Downs Wires In Teaneck
Route 4 has reopened more than 12 hours after a crash downed a pole and live wires in Teaneck, police said. Sometime after 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, a crash took down a pole in the westbound lanes near River Road, local police said. All lanes were closed with traffic getting by in one lane on the eastbound side, police said. At 9:30 p.m., Teaneck police announced the roadway had been reopened and all repairs had been made. Elmwood Park police busted a repeat offender with mushrooms, LSD, pot and prescription pills, authorities said. Brandon J. Soto, 25, of East Orange blew a stop sign off the ramp from eastbound Route 46 onto Stefanic Avenue and was pulled over by members of the Street Crimes Unit, Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno said.
