Two men are wanted after allegedly going on a shopping spree using stolen credit cards at multiple Long Island retailers. An alert was issued by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers as they attempt to identify and locate a pair of suspects who used stolen credit cards in Huntington Station in July. Police said that on Friday, July 17, the two men pictured above used the stolen credit cards at Rite Aid, CVS, Best Buy, Target, and Dicks Sporting Goods. The owner of Corbin’s Corner shopping plaza in West Hartford is suing Old Navy for $231,000 in unpaid rent. The owners, Florida-based Regency Centers, sued Old Navy on July 7 in Hartford Superior Court. The lawsuit alleges that Old Navy owes Corbin’s Corner rent for April-June as well as thousands of dollars in tax and insurance expenses. Old Navy, a clothing retailer under Gap Inc., pays about $53,900 in rent per month to stay at Corbin’s Corner. Man, Woman At Large After Knifepoint Robbery At Long Island Best Buy
A man and woman are on the loose after stealing electronics from a Long Island Best Buy location and brandishing a knife at a security guard, police said. It is alleged that the pair took a laptop and camera from Best Buy on Old Country Road in Westbury without making an attempt to pay before walking out of the store. Know Him? Police Seek To ID Man Who Made Large Purchases With Stolen Credit Card
Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly made large purchases using a stolen credit card. The card was stolen from a resident in Newtown and used it to buy items and spending more than $5,000, Newtown Police said. The card was used Best Buy, the Apple Store, and Starbucks, all in Danbury, police said. The male is described as being Hispanic, and 50 to 60 years old. A series of Whirlpool, KitchenAid and JennAir brand glass cooktops have been recalled due to burn and fire hazard issues, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Issued on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the recall alert states that certain models of glass cooktops with touch controls can turn on by themselves and pose burn and fire hazards. Police are looking for two women accused of using stolen credit cards to make purchases at a Huntington Station convenience store in April. Suffolk County Police are asking the public for help to identify and locate the women caught on surveillance camera and wanted for grand larceny.
