Authorities have identified the 7-year-old boy and 47-year-old woman killed when the boat they were on capsized on the Hudson River. Julian Vasquez and Lindelia Vasquez along with a group of about a dozen family members were on the boat named Stimulus Money in Elizabeth, NJ when it overturned on Manhattan's West Side Tuesday, July 12, abc7 reports. Two people, including a 7-year-old boy, were killed after a boat with more than a dozen on board capsized in the Hudson River. The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 in midtown Manhattan near the Intrepid off Pier 84 and West 46th Street. State officials have released the identity of a person killed during a boating accident on the Connecticut River that also injured seven, two of them children. The incident in Middlesex County, in the town of Portland in the area of Gildersleeve Island on Sunday, July 10. One of two boaters who disappeared last November on the Delaware River has been found, authorities said. The body of Brian S. Palangi, 26, was found in the waters near the Philadelphia Navy Yard on May 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said. The area is adjacent to the Eagle Point Refinery, on the Philadelphia side of the Delaware River. The body of a canoeist was retrieved from the Ramapo River in Mahwah early Wednesday afternoon, responders said. Police are searching for the driver of a boat that struck another vessel on the Magothy River, killing a Pasadena woman late Monday night, reports Fox 5. A boater had to be rescued after crashing near a marina on Fire Island. A 34-year-old Islip resident was operating a 25-foot boat Wednesday evening, June 8, when he apparently suffered a medical emergency, according to Suffolk County Police. The body of a New Jersey boater who went missing earlier this month has been recovered, authorities said. Richard O'Day, a 54-year-old father of three from Rumson, took his Grady White Freedom out from a private dock on Polly's Pond on May 1, according to Rumson police. IDs Released For Two Killed In Boating Accident Off Stamford Coast
State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County. The men have been identified as Cristofer Cifuentes, age 26, and Ludyn Cifuentes, age 41, both of New York City, said Will Healy, spokesman for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
