12-Year-Old Girl's Bomb Threat Clears Virginia Mall, Police Say
A 12-year-old girl was found responsible for a bomb threat that evacuated a mall in northern Virginia last week, authorities said. The threat against the Manassas Mall on Sudley Road was shared to Instagram on May 22. The mall was evacuated just after 8:50 a.m. as a precaution and officers determined there was no active threat to the mall, police said. The girl was identified on Tuesday, May 28, the PWCPD said. A bomb threat was called into a Prince William County elementary school Thursday morning, April 25, police said. Authorities were on scene at T Clay Wood Elementary School in Nokesville as of 10:15 a.m. a report of a bomb threat to the school. No devices were located and the school was evacuated temporarily. West Potomac High School in Belle Haven was evacuated Wednesday morning, April 24 for a threat called in over the phone, police said.
