A Home Depot store on Long Island was evacuated after someone called in a bomb threat. The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, at the Home Depot store in Riverhead, located on Old Country Road, police confirmed. According to police radio traffic, the suspect told a store manager that there was an explosive device somewhere in the building. Police believe that the same person who called in a bomb threat to a Charles County school late last week made a similar call this week targeting another building. A 28-year-old man is accused of calling in a bomb threat to a daycare in the region, authorities said. The incident happened Wednesday, March 15, in Saratoga County, at a childcare center in Clifton Park, according to State Police.
