Man Killed By Train In Trenton
A man was struck and killed by New Jersey Transit train Saturday afternoon in Trenton, authorities said. The River Line light rail train that left the Waterfront Entertainment Center in Camden at 1:44 p.m., struck the pedestrian at the S Broad Street crossing at 2:52 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said. None of the 30 passengers nor the operator were injured. Service was suspended between Trenton and Bordentown with bus service provided as of 5 p.m. The victim was not identified and NJT police were investigating.

24-Year-Old Newark Woman Dies In NJ Turnpike Crash
A 24-year-old Newark woman died in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike early Sunday morning in Burlington County, authorities said. Mabel Cerrate-Valdez was in the inner northbound lanes when her vehicle left the highway, overturned and struck a bridge support around 7:40 a.m. in Bordentown, New Jersey State Police said. Her car went off the roadway to the right and she was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

State Releases Videos Of NJ Police Pursuit Ending In Fatal Crash
Videos of a brief police pursuit that ended when a 23-year-old Trenton man crashed his sedan into woods off a highway were released Friday by authorities following his death. A Bordentown police officer began following the Nissan Maxima after Keron Roundtree, 23, brake abruptly on Route 206 shortly before 9 p.m. last Oct. 27, state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. Body Of Missing Fisherman From Turkey Who Fell Off Kayak Found On Jersey Shore Riverbank
Authorities in Monmouth County on Monday recovered the body of a man who went missing after falling out of a kayak last week. Nedim Aksoy, 50, of Bordentown was one of two men who fell out of kayaks while fishing near the Oceanic Bridge in Rumson around 11 p.m. Thursday, June 4, the U.S. Coast Guard said. While one of the men was wearing a life jacket and able to swim safely to the shore, Aksoy was not wearing one and instead vanished underwater, authorities said.
