A real estate agent from Landenberg, PA, was nailed on charges of using a knife then a gun, authorities said. Sherry Lee Heffernan, 55, is to remain detained in the Ocean County Jail pending trial on two counts of murder relative to the deaths of John Enders and Francoise Pitoy in Surf City on or about Sept. 29, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A 57-year-old woman from Ocean County has been indicted in the beating death of a man using a shower rod, authorities said. Three former employees of a veterans organization have been indicted for stealing about $30,000 in extra pay, authorities said. A 33-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been indicted for allegedly selling a fatal mix of drugs, authorities said. Dandre Tubbs, of Manchester, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of strict liability drug induced death and several drug-related charges, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. The death of a woman whose body was found in a wooded section of Seaside Heights was not suspicious, authorities said. On June 4, Ocean Township police received a report of an unresponsive female in a wooded area of the Barnegat Branch Rail Trail near County Line Road in Waretown; On Monday, the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that Megan Campana, 42, of Seaside Heights died of natural causes, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A 33-year-old police dispatcher from the Jersey Shore has admitted stealing $4,690 from Lanoka Harbor Emergency Medical Services, authorities said. A New Jersey man admitted to stabbing another man to death during an argument at an Ocean County home over three years ago, authorities said.
