Teen Nabbed For Nine Long Island Burglaries In One Night
A teenager has been nabbed for a series of nine burglaries that took place earlier this year on Long Island, police said.
Nassau County Police arrested Richard Morgridge, age 18, of the Bronx, on Wednesday, March 23.
The burglaries took place in Mineola and Carle Place between 12:43 and 4:35 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, police said.
An investigation led detectives to Morgridge, they added.
Morgridge is allegedly responsible for the following burglaries:

A months-long investigation into a bank robbery on Long Island led to the arrest of a suspect who is now facing charges, police announced.
On Friday, Feb. 25, Nassau County police investigators that Freeport resident Shamont Hoosuendove, age 37, has been charged with one count of second-degree robbery after targeting Chase Bank in Carle Place last fall.
Police said that shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, Hoosuendove allegedly walked into Chase Bank on Old Country Road, slipping a teller a note demanding money.

An officer was hospitalized with multiple injuries after a woman became combative at a Long Island hotel, according to police.
Events unfolded around 1 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 in Carle Place.
Police were dispatched for a disturbance that had occurred at the Holiday Inn located at 369 Old Country Road.

Two Long Island men have been arrested for a series of burglaries, including at several schools.
Gem Hattat, age 27, of Lindenhurst, and Jarrett Boyarsky, also age 27, of Westbury, were arrested by Nassau County Police on Monday, June 21 in Carle Place.
According to detectives, officers responded to Rushmore Elementary School located at 251 Rushmore Avenue for an alarm.
