Update: Food Network Kosher Chef From Teaneck Charged With Teen Sex Assaults
An accomplished kosher chef from Teaneck who appeared on the Food Network show "Chopped" was jailed on child sex assault charges.
Shalom Yehudiel, 40, of Surfside, FL, remained held in the Bergen County Jail on Thursday, March 17, following his arrest the day before, records show.

Stop Near GWB Leads To Hidden $150,000, Arrest Of NYC Driver, Prosecutor Says
A money launderer from Queens was caught with more than $150,000 in cash stashed throughout an SUV during a traffic stop in Fort Lee, authorities said.
Investigators with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Narcotics Task Force stopped a Chevy Suburban driven by Hongwei Zheng, a 39-year-old liquor store cashier from Flushing, late last week, Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
They found $158,900.00 in cash “concealed in different locations in the vehicle,” Musella said.
Authorities seized the cash for forfeiture, the prosecutor said.

144 Pounds Of Pot Found, Driver Busted In Teaneck Pickup Stop
Detectives found 144 pounds of pot in a pickup truck in Teaneck and took the driver into custody, authorities said.
Adrian Diaz Resendiz, a 30-year-old food prep worker from Jamaica, Queens, was “transporting bulk shipments of marijuana through Bergen County,” Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
He was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute it and sent to the Bergen County Jail, Musella said.
A judge released him the next day, with conditions, following a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, records show.
