Covid-19: Five Regions In New York On Track To Enter Phase 4 This Week
Half of New York’s 10 regions are on track to enter Phase 4 of the state’s mandated four-phase reopening as the state continues its recovery from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Mohawk Valley, Finger Lakes, North Country, Central New York, and Southern Tier are all set to enter Phase 4 of reopening their economies as of Friday, June 26, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced during a COVID-19 briefing on Wednesday, June 24 in Manhattan.

After some initial confusion, five regions in upstate New York have been given the green light to enter Phase 2 of their reopening plans amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that as of 1 p.m. on Friday, May 29, the Finger Lakes, North Country, Mohawk Valley, Central New York, and the Southern Tier can reopen selected businesses, though under strict guidelines.

With the mid-Hudson Valley and Long Island regions set to begin reopening amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, courts will also begin opening up doors to in-person proceedings.
