There have now been 1,466 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Dutchess County, resulting in 11 deaths since the outbreak began. State Police Searching For Owner Of 'Simulation Doll' State Police are attempting to locate the owner of a "simulation doll" found along a roadside. “Noelle,” a maternal and neonatal birthing simulation doll, was found on Hollow Road in the town of Clinton at 8 a.m., on Sunday, March 8, state police in Poughkeepsie said. Poughkeepsie resident Justin O’Dell has been sentenced to 14 years in state prison after pleading guilty to second-degree rape of a child in Dutchess County Court in January.  He will also serve 15 years of post-release supervision and has been ordered to a sex offender upon the completion of his prison term. State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Christopher Kane for criminal possession of stolen property, a Class E felony, on Tuesday, June 26. On April 13, troopers responded to Fiddlers Bridge Road in the town of Clinton for a report of a stolen kayak and paddles.  An investigation led to the discovery of Kane possessing the stolen items, police said.
