Number Of Power Outages Surges In Afternoon In Rockland, Orange Counties
With winds whipping between 20 and 30 mph and gusts approaching 65 mph in the area, thousands remain without power as utility crews scramble to restore service to the region.
As of around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, Feb. 25, Orange & Rockland had 1,120 customers in Orange County and 578 customers in Rockland without power, led by Warwick (648); Nyack (253); Florida (247); Clarkstown (137) and Tuxedo Park (130).
