Authorities say that a 22-year-old man has been charged in a 10-count indictment in Maryland for a felony hit-and-run crash in May that left his victim with potentially life-threatening injuries. Silver Spring resident Davee Mannah Kromah was charged this week for a hit-and-run collision with the lead charges of felony hit-and-run and life-threatening injury resulting from driving a motor vehicle in a criminally negligent manner, officials announced. Man Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle In Montgomery County
A 39-year-old man has died following a fatal pedestrian collision in Gaithersburg, authorities say. The victim was struck in the area of Midcounty Highway and Miller Fall Road around 8:42 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, according to Montgomery County police. Investigators say that the victim, who was located in the roadway, was hit by a red Saturn Aura. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene following the collision. Police have identified the elderly Silver Spring woman killed in a two-vehicle collision, authorities say. Henrietta Gomez, 91, was attempting to turn left onto Baltimore Road from westbound Norbeck Road when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle around 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, according to Montgomery County police. Detectives have released the identity of the driver who was killed in a traffic collision in Montgomery County, authorities announced. Sam Mingsan Chen, 79, of Rockville, was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of Stoney Creek Road and River Road when their Toyota was struck around 1:50 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, according to Montgomery County officials.
