James Demmer of Monticello was struck around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday near 3317 Route 207 in Goshen by an unidentified person driving a 2016 Journey, said New York State Police Spokesman Steven Nevel. Danbury Firefighters Rescue Injured Worker From Construction Site DANBURY, Conn. — Firefighters came to the rescue of a worker who suffered a head injury Thursday morning at a home construction site in Danbury on Candlewood Lake.With the help of a local tree company, firefighters set up a rope system and basket to pull the worker from the basement of the home under construction on Forty Acre Mountain Road, fire department spokesman James Gagliardo said in a statement.   A 911 call came in at 9 a.m. Engine Company 24 was dispatched along with City Of Danbury EMS to the scene, Gagliardo said.  The accident was due to the malfunction of a boom on a concrete …
