Thomas Dazzo, 22, Westfield Native And Animal Lover
Services were held Saturday at Holy Trinity Church in Westfield for Thomas Declan Dazzo, who died suddenly July 9 at the age of 22.
Born in Summit, he grew up in Westfield before moving to Plainfield.
Remembered as a kindhearted person with a lively sense of humor, he discovered his calling when he was 8 years old and received a dachshund, "Cookie," now 14 years old, as a gift.
He would pursue his interest in animals as a maintenance worker at Barker Lounge, a pet-boarding and grooming business in Cranford.

A New York City man wanted on warrants issued in communities across North Jersey was arrested in Clark on a drug offense last week, police said.
Joye Rosario, 23, was picked up May 6 on charges of narcotics possession, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, intent to distribute within 500 feet of a library and hindering apprehension
Police also discovered warrants for Rosario's arrest were issued in Cranford, Elizabeth, Linden, New Brunswick, Rahway, Secaucus, Tinton Falls and Woodbridge. The warrants totaled more than $5,400.
