Nine People Busted With Nearly 14K Fentanyl Pills During Drug Bust In Maryland: Police
Nine people were busted with nearly 14,000 fentanyl pills during a drug bust in Maryland, police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 23. The pills were recovered as officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 5400 block of Hamilton Street in Riverdale on Thursday, Jan. 18, Prince George’s County Police said. The search allegedly turned up 13,825 fentanyl pills, as well as cocaine and three firearms. Support is on the rise for a Maryland high school senior and upcoming Towson University student shot and killed last week. Olamide Olakanye, 18, of Upper Marlboro died at a nearby hospital after being shot on the 1200 block of Dunbar Oaks Drove around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, Daily Voice reported. Five 'Rose Ruse' Home Burglaries Probed In Fairfax County: Police
Authorities in Fairfax County are investigating a series of home burglaries that begin with a woman holding a bouquet of roses. The first incident happened on Dec. 28 on the 900 hundred block of Dominion Reserve Drive in McLean, police said. In four of the incidents, a woman approaches the home with flowers and knocks on the door. When no one answers, she returns to an awaiting vehicle. Man Tried Raping Woman At Fairfax County Bus Stop: Police
Police have arrested a man who they say tried raping a woman at a Fairfax County bus stop this week. Okezie Boniface Erondu, 36, of Alexandria, approached the woman near a bus stop near on the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue Richmond Highway and Ladson Lane around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, Fairfax County police said.
