Man Nabbed For Violating Protective Order In Northern Westchester, Police Say
An out-of-state man was nabbed for allegedly violating an order of protection in Northern Westchester.
Raphael Ayensu, 44, of Irvington, New Jersey, was arrested by Yorktown Police on Thursday, Jan. 7, after police responded to a call for the violation.
According to police, on Tuesday, Nov. 24, officers responded to a Yorktown residence and met with the victim who said that Ayensu had called the victim violating the protective order.

Two Long Island men have been arrested following a stabbing incident in a fight over an ex-girlfriend.
Anthony Diomede, age 31, and Joseph Arena, age 32, both of Levittown, were arrested on Friday, Jan. 1, following the incident in which one of the men landed in the hospital, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, officers responded to a Levittown residence for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, it was determined that Diomede had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s residence where he was involved in an altercation with Arena.

Orange County Man Admits To Stabbing Woman, Burning Down Her Home During Second Attack
An area man who had assaulted a woman and returned two days later and stabbed the woman and burned down her family's home has pleaded guilty.
Orange County resident Anthony Mahabir, 38, of the City of Newburgh, pleaded guilty in Orange County Court on Wednesday, Oct. 21, assault, arson, and criminal contempt, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The plea was in connection with the stabbing of the woman on March 26 after being arrested two days earlier for assaulting the same woman, the DA's Office said.
