Man Caught Living Inside Town Of New Canaan Building Due To Be Demolished, Police Say
A man is facing charges after he was found to be living in a building in New Canaan that was scheduled to be demolished, police say. New Canaan Police were dispatched to the Mead Park Brick Barn on the report of someone inside of the building with a flashlight. The building, which is owned by the Town of New Canaan, is abandoned and closed to the public. Police say there is a sign on the outside that states that the building will soon be demolished. A woman who allegedly committed a burglary in Greenwich has been arrested after officers followed her footprints in the snow, police say. Greenwich Police responded to the area of 23 Woodland Drive on Sunday, March 3 around 7:30 p.m. on the report of suspicious activity.
