A 28-year-old man was critically injured when the motorcyclist he was operating struck two Lexuses in separate crashes at a busy Long Island intersection. It happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20 in Massapequa. Worker In Critical Condition After Falling 30 Feet Through Opening On Roof Of Stamford Business
A roofing employee fell more than 30 feet through a skylight, landing on a concrete warehouse floor while working on a Stamford's businesses' roof. The incident took place around 1:34 p.m. Wednesday at 55 Sunnyside Ave., after the employee misstepped and fell through the opening, said Stamford Fire Deputy Chief Eric Lorenz. The man received critical head injuries, as well as other injuries, Lorenz said. He was transferred to a local hospital in critical condition. This is a developing story.
