Pair Arrested In Fatal Shooting In Cumberland County: Prosecutor
Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Millville last month, authorities said.
Maurice L. Jones, 30, of Vineland and Edwin I. Torres, 31, of Philadelphia, were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
On Feb. 17, Millville police responded to 4 th and E Street for reports of shots fired.
Police found Lamont O. Jones Jr., 34, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter at Cooper Hospital, the prosecutor said.

Argument Leaves Man Dead In Cumberland County
A 47-year-old man from Cumberland County has been arrested from shooting a man dead during an arguments, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 5:13 p.m., New Jersey State Police responded to the 600 block of Newport Road in Millville (Lawrence Township) for a reported gunshot victim.
Troopers found the victim, Lequint G. Allen, 42, of North 3rd Street, Millville, with gunshot wounds, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
Allen was taken to Inspira Medical Center Vineland where he was pronounced dead, she said.

Man, 35, Shot Dead In South Jersey
A 35-year-old man from Gloucester County was shot to death in Cumberland County, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 10:21 p.m., Vineland police responded to the 400 block of Landis Avenue for reported gunshots. Arriving Officers found the victim, Russell Workman, last known of Sewell, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public at this time.

A 41-year-old man from South Jersey has been sentenced in the slaying of a woman in 2020, authorities said.
Patrick Spann, of Bridgeton, was sentenced to 28 years in New Jersey State Prison for aggravated manslaughter and desecration of human remains, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
