Feds: NJ Ex-Con Caught With 33 Guns, High-Capacity Mags, Silencer, Ammo Takes Plea
UPDATE: A South Jersey ex-con found with dozens of guns, high-capacity magazines and ammo admitted having others buy guns for him, federal authorities said.
Darick Nollett, 32, who lives in Cumberland County near the Delaware Bay, caught the attention of law enforcement when he bought a “fuel filter” – a device commonly used to silence firearms -- from China, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
As a convicted felon, Nollett was prohibited from having weaponry, Honig said.
So he got straw purchasers to buy guns for him, she said.

An accused South Jersey killer wanted by police tried to hide the victim's body in grass clippings after the attack, authorities and court documents show.
Brandon Dennis, 29, of Vineland, is wanted on numerous charges including murder, desecration, aggravated assault, terrorist threats and several weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.

Fugitive Nabbed In South Jersey Fatal Double-Shooting
A fugitive in a fatal shooting has been captured by authorities, they said.
Derrell Martin located and arrested on Friday, authorities said.
Martin was charged on Oct. 14 on the charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
On Oct. 8 at 10:28 p.m., Bridgeton police responded to 138 Vine Street for shots fired.

Feds: Duo Caught With Ar-style Rifle, Clothing Used In Camden County Gas Station Robberies
Federal agents captured two men following a pair of Camden County gunpoint gas station robberies, authorities said.
Paul Rogers, 27, and Kamau Bradshaw, 19, were both spotted after each robbery returning to a Camden residence with a large duffel bag, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said Monday.
Authorities armed with a warrant searched the residence and found an AR-style rifle believed used in both holdups, the duffel bag and other pieces of evidence, Honig said.
